The Meme That’s Sweeping Japan

This looks like a jump from Panorama, a Martha Graham piece I danced in, in college. Seriously. That jump plagued me. Are these Japanese kids really inspired by Anime or is Martha Graham their secret? This new jump craze spreading their nation is called HADOKEN-ing. Not sure the name will catch on here but don’t be surprised if you see people spontaneously busting out into this jump in your hometown sometime soon. The Japanese kids have a real way with trends.
